The Shrine has gained a big reputation over the years. From its appearance in the 1933 King Kong film to hosting the very first Academy Awards, the venue continues to host some of the biggest and most talked about events in the world.
WHY IS IT COOL? The Shrine has two large spaces that adapt to host a variety of events. Its ornate architecture is in Moorish Revival Style from the 1920s. The facility includes 17 dressing rooms, two chorus rooms, an in-house production office, and VIP accommodations- making it fit to host events like the Grammy Awards and Miss Universe.

GENERAL SPACE DESCRIPTION: The auditorium can hold up to 6,300 guests, with both floor and balcony seating. The expo hall is 54,000 square feet, with room for 5,000 guests standing or 2,200 guests seated. For trade shows, it can hold up to 200 booths. And for corporate events, it holds 1,500 guests seated with room for a performance stage.
